The largest of its type in New Zealand with over 40 original buildings, including many authentic structures on a 4.05 hectare site. Almost everything is covered from township to country. Inside the buildings are artifacts of the pioneering era. Enjoy mountain views, a family picnic or on-site cafe & feeding the animals. Stratford Hospital Museum within displays comprehensive hospital memorabilia & equipment. Several interactive displays will keep the children entertained. Loved by everyone. The "Pioneer Express" will take you on 2 fun circuits of the Village. Every second Sunday of the month craftsmen operate.
