The role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
You will be reporting to the Team Coach and working in a team of youth workers. Young people will stay in our home-like retreat for short periods while they are supported by trained youth mental health and addiction workers.

This is a Full-time position. You will be working 32 hours per week, Thursday - Sunday, 11pm - 7:30am.

About You | Mōu:
We're looking for a savvy and energised youth worker to join our growing service.

You will have:

A National Certificate in Mental Health and Addiction Support Work (Level 4) or National Certificate in Youth Work.
An understanding of trauma-informed care and working with young people.
Full NZ driver's licence.
An understanding of Information Technology - Microsoft Office preferred.
A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
Previous experience in youth work, social work, mental health, and addiction preferred.
Māori and Pasifika are strongly encouraged to apply for this role. We also encourage people with lived experience to apply.
