Our Taranaki Regional team have an exciting opportunity to become part of this high performing team as a Renewals Manager.
As part of our Taranaki NOC leadership team, this role is responsible for the planning and delivery of all aspects of the end-to-end renewal process, this includes utilising the power and breadth of internal Downer specialists and external subcontractors to deliver the program of works. The program includes varied works such as pavement rehabilitation, chip resurfacing, Asphalt construction, culvert renewals and other associated improvements, with an annual value of works circa $7 Million+
About the role:
This role is working within the Taranaki NOC. As Renewals Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Having a detailed understanding and oversight of the full process
Managing the development and implementation of the programme for end-to-end renewal delivery and ensuring all those contributing to and/or affected by the process are aware of and have input to the programme
Monitoring and reporting progress against the programme, identifying variances, reporting these and ensuring corrective action as appropriate
Adopting a risk based approach
Proposing changes to the process as part of the continual improvement process
About you:
You may have been a consultant or contractor, with experience in surfacing and / or road construction, and will be able to demonstrate good understanding of construction processes, plant suitability and productivities. You will also bring:
Strong collaboration and communication skills
The ability to develop positive relationships with, and obtain co-operation from client, internal and external delivery teams
Strong influencing skills
An attitude that is positive, self-motivated, focused and results driven
A proven track record in developing a culture that supports Zero Harm management, encouraging and rewarding excellent
As our Renewals Manager, you will ensure that key customer and key stakeholder relationships are enhanced and good working relationships within the New Zealand Transport Agency and NOC Operational Teams are maintained and developed, actively fostering a “best for Network” approach.
