Our Three Waters team is looking for a Stormwater Engineer to provide operational technical support for the management, operation and maintenance of the Community's stormwater network and flood control systems. It is an exciting time in our Three Waters team as we plan and develop our resilience and capability for the future, which will have far reaching and positive impacts on our community.

In this permanent, full-time, role you play a key role in ensuring our stormwater and drainage networks are suitable now and in the future. You will be responsible for tasks such as identifying and drafting project scopes and business cases, designing solutions to flooding and stormwater issues and the maintenance of stormwater catchment management plans, stormwater and flood control networks and the Asset Management System, along with contingency planning and providing technical advice.

The successful candidate will have one of the following; Bachelor of Engineering Degree, NZ Certificate, or Diploma in Civil or related engineering, along with relevant experience in overseeing the construction, operation and/or maintenance of stormwater networks and/or flood protection assets.
