STOREPERSON
We are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our team in the Bell Block warehouse. As a member of the Stores team the successful candidate will be responsible for stock management, maintaining the Inventory System and providing support to Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain effective control at all times of inventory, including critical spares
Operate the point of delivery for all incoming goods for the rig, projects, and general operations.
Process in a timely fashion in the inventory management system, the receipting of incoming inventory, the issuing of outgoing inventory and the filing of related documentation
Load vehicles using a forklift and tie down loads.
Pick up and deliver equipment to company sites around the Taranaki Region.
Keep the store area tidy and free from hazards.
Ensure timely advice and/or disbursement of received deliveries to the appropriate departments.
Provide support relating to the packaging of goods to be exported.
Carry out stock takes in accordance with the stock take programme.
Provide support and Stores access to operations after hours.
Identify and implement process improvements within the Store.
Coordinate closely with the logistics/procurement function.
Experience and Knowledge
3 years previous Storeperson experience, within the oil and gas industry, is desirable.
Forklift licence with F endorsement.
Good computer skills including MS Outlook and Excel.
Must have full NZ drivers licence.
