Located just 50 meters from the Coastal Walkway, Absolute Radiology is a specialist Radiology Clinic based in New Plymouth that opened its doors in 2019 with an emphasis on convenient and friendly medical imaging.

About the role
We are looking for a Sonographer to join our small but close-knit team in a purpose-built facility which also offers x-ray, CT, MRI, Bone Density scanning and Interventional Radiology. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality ultrasound scanning, in a supportive team environment.
Our case mix makes this a Sonographers dream job because of the variety of cases, from MSK to elastography, general body (with limited obstetric) scanning. Each day is different!
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Utilising clinical judgement/decision making to inform examination strategy and outcome
Ensuring the delivery of ultrasound imaging in a skilful and knowledgeable manner
Preparing written reports for examinations whereby you use your superior knowledge to critically evaluate findings.
Practicing procedures in an ethical and professional manner, ensuring health and safety regulations are met.
Work in with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and appropriate outcomes for our patients.
This position will require you to be a real people person, with the ability to provide a high level of care and understanding to existing and prospective patients, catering to their psychological and physical needs.
