A leading cleaning and hygiene company operating in the food processing industry has a vacancy for Site Manager to lead out team. The successful person will preferably have previous leadership experience in a hygiene, cleaning or food production environment. Strong team management skills and a commitment to customer service are essential.

This is a night shift role.

Key role responsibilities:

Recruitment and continual training and development of hygiene operators and team leader(s)
Ensure adherence to safety policy, use of PPE and consumables and chemicals.
Drive compliance of policies and company cleaning and safety management systems, including identifying issues and putting in place solutions.
Effectively communicate to build healthy working relationships with various internal stakeholders and client addressing concerns as well as improvements that ensures superior delivery of services
Be a sponsor for continual improvement development and identifying talent.
Build trust within the team creating a motivated and high performing working environment.
Manage materials purchasing and labour costs within allocated budgets.
Be accountable for daily visual inspection of cleaning standards, achieving the set visual and micro results
Be able to manage time effectively to meet the needs on site and your team as well as the timely completion of the required documentation for the national support office.
Web based company system experience would be desirable, along with intermediate computer skills.
This role reports to the regional Area Manager and /or Operations Manager.
