About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
As Service Quality Manager, you will be the regional champion for service excellence across our disability support services. Reporting to the Regional Manager - Disability, you'll lead a team of Positive Behaviour Support Planners, and work alongside Service Delivery Managers and the National Quality & Risk team to ensure services are person-led, contractually compliant, and continuously improving.
You will be responsible for:
Leading the implementation of quality standards across your region
Monitoring service performance and compliance
Supporting audits, managing incidents, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Building strong relationships with funders, iwi, and local stakeholders
Contributing to strategic planning and workforce development
What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga
Proven experience in quality assurance, service delivery or leadership in the disability or health sectors
Knowledge of disability sector standards and service contracts
Experience managing teams or leading service improvements
Ability to analyse data to improve outcomes and reduce risk
Strong organisational, relationship-building and problem-solving skills
Passion for person-centred, trauma-informed and strengths-based practice
Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and cultural responsiveness
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
Flexibility to travel as needed
