New Energy are on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Supervisor to support our renewable energy construction projects.

New Energy are the leading provider and partner for renewable energy construction projects across New Zealand. Based in vibrant Taranaki, we are committed to delivering high-quality, innovative projects that make a positive impact on the environment and communities we serve.

As a Senior Supervisor, you will work across our projects, working away at a range of picturesque project locations. Leading and mentoring a team of Team Leaders and Labourer/General Hands, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring we bring the project in on time, in full and to our client’s expectations/specifications.



What You’ll Do:

Lead and mentor a team, ensuring safety, quality, and timelines are met.
Set the standard with positive, professional behaviour and motivate your team to excel.
Complete tasks assigned by Project Management with precision.
Identify and resolve construction challenges to meet project milestones and budget.
Proactively plan and collaborate with project management and the wider New Energy team.


Desired Skills & Qualifications: (ideal but not essential for the right person!)

Previous experience in construction leadership, ideally in renewable energy projects.
Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols and construction SOPs.
Practical experience in trenching and or excavation.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
Technical expertise in renewable energy technologies is a plus!
Approachable, personable team player with a can-do attitude.
Full NZ Driver’s License, class 2 with WTR endorsements.
