We have four full-time Senior Project Manager opportunities in the Planning and Infrastructure Groups' Projects team to deliver a wide variety of complex projects within the 21-31 Long Term Plan.

The roles fall within the following three areas of expertise:

Planning and Strategy Projects
Three Water's Projects (Water, Wastewater and Stormwater)
Infrastructure Projects

With excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, you will be responsible for the establishment and delivery of complex projects and be able to bring together and lead a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts across council business units.

The role will also include support and mentoring of project managers and graduate project managers.

The following skills and experience you will need includes the following:

Project management and leadership in multi-disciplinary projects
Leading change initiatives
Involvement in procurement and collaborative contract working;
An appreciation for the bigger picture that projects are being delivered in
Political acumen
For the Three Water's position: project management and leadership in 3 Water's projects, either reticulation or Water/Wastewater treatment; Water/wastewater/reticulation design, construction and or operational experience
Ideally you'll come to us with a tertiary qualification and project management qualification
