We are seeking two highly motivated and results-oriented individuals to fill the roles of Senior Buyer & Expeditor/Buyer.

Senior Buyer/Expeditor

Applicants must have a thorough understanding of procurement requirements for multi-discipline EPC projects, including practical experience of supply chain management, excellent negotiating skills, be competent in written and oral communication and demonstrate excellent computer skills in applicants such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

Experience in the procurement of materials, equipment and services from issuing of enquiries through to bid evaluation, chairing of clarification meetings, post award negotiation, post award expediting and regular performance review.
Experience in negotiating and executing Contracts with Sub-Contractors for professional services.
Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) or equivalent would be beneficial.
Expeditor/Buyer

This is a fixed term position for approximately 3 months and would suit some with proven expediting experience, tracking all steps of the supply chain and liaising with various project managers and suppliers to ensure smooth product delivery. Applicants must have a thorough understanding of procurement requirements.

You will come with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and excellent time management. You will be a valued part of a team to ensure the project’s success. Excellent computer skills in applicants such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are essential.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, these roles will be based in New Plymouth working within the central Procurement team or assigned to Major Projects as necessary.
