We currently have an opportunity for a highly experienced Salesperson to join the team at our Inglewood store.
Here at Farmlands we're focused on providing expert advice on a wide range of rural services and supplies to our shareholders and customers.
About the Role
In this full time permanent role you will:
Provide outstanding service to Shareholders coming into store
Operate a POS system to process orders
Some deliveries on to farm will be required
Stepping in to take on delegated authority in the Business Manager's absence
Loading and unloading products and manual handling of equipment
Some heavy lifting may be required
About You
You will be a seasoned Retail Sales professional with the following skills and experience:
A sound knowledge of the agricultural sector would be ideal
Highly skilled in retail sales and able to take on supervisory tasks as required
Be a real "people person" who is able to relate well to a range of customers
Strong communication skills and the ability to provide technical information in an accurately
A full, clean driver's licence is required, a forklift licence would be an advantage
Able to operate POS systems and computer based technology
Be physically capable as some heavy lifting is required
Farmlands operates a Saturday morning roster system, so availability for this is essential
