We are currently looking for a talented Diversional and Recreational Therapist to become part of our team at our New Plymouth Village. This is a fulltime permanent role.

Who are we looking for?
Someone who can provide meaningful and purposeful recreational programs
Someone with a pre-existing passion for Diversional and Recreational Therapy
Someone with a good level of human awareness (empathy & compassion)
Someone who understand holistic approaches (person centered care)
Someone who is enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, creative and resourceful
Someone who is self-motivated, respectful, curious, open minded and proactive
Someone with good communications skills and strong willingness to learn
Someone who is available to work full time
Must Hold a full valid NZ Driver Licence
Fully Qualified and License Diversional and Recreational Therapist (Registered DRT). If you don't hold a DRT Licence, or if you are not are not a Qualified DRT, you must be willing to complete the NZQA Certificate in Diversional Therapy
