Bring your supervisory experience to ANZCO Foods Waitara located 15km north of New Plymouth. Reporting to the Site Production Manager, the purpose of this position is to ensure production of products meet the required timeframes to enable the business to achieve continued growth.
Duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Providing health and safety leadership to staff
Meeting targets for production to plan, quality, yields and costs
Daily and weekly yield reporting and ensuring corrective actions for variances
Daily reporting on labour utilisation
Updating the time and attendance system daily, weekly reporting to payroll
Reporting and monitoring repairs and maintenance of equipment
Ensuring compliance with customer, food safety and other regulatory requirements
Scheduling production on a daily basis to ensure operational plan is met
Complete monthly operational reports
Skills and experience we are looking for:
FMCG and food manufacturing experience
Strong computer skills
A good understanding of food safety and compliance requirements
Minimum five years' experience in a similar position
Understanding of health and safety requirements and best practice
Demonstrated leadership and the ability to manage a team through change
