Primary Care Assistant – Casual
MediCross Urgent Care & GP Clinic now has a part-time position available for a Primary Care Assistant (PCA) to work in our GP clinic.
Key to this role is an ability to be highly motivated to deliver a first-class service, ensuring the smooth running of clinic operations. The ability to multi-task is crucial, as is the ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities include general duties to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the clinic, as well as providing consistent, ongoing, continuity of care.
Experience working in a primary care facility, along with an understanding of medical terminology would be advantageous.
Essential:
Qualification in primary care an advantage but not essential
Experience in the health care sector
Training will be given
Good communication and customer service skills
Strong command of verbal and written English
Basic computer skills – MedTech Evolution an advantage
MediCross GP Clinic is open to cater to the needs of patients with various employment and lifestyle needs Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. The applicant should be flexible, able to work rostered shifts Monday to Friday, over a four-week rotating roster including weekends. A minimum of 25 hours per week on average
