Role Overview:
The Pou-a-Tari provides high-quality administrative and operational support to He Toronga Pakihi ki Taranaki. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth daily functioning of the organisation, maintaining strong relationships with members and stakeholders, and supporting communications and event delivery.

You’ll be the first point of contact for pakihi Māori and the wider business community, coordinate member engagement, and help tell the story of Māori business success through digital channels.

Experience managing social media accounts (for a business or personal brand) is ideal—particularly Facebook, Instagram and/or TikTok. Familiarity with other digital marketing tools (e.g. email marketing, Google Ads) is a bonus!

Previous administrative experience—especially in the not-for-profit sector—is desirable but not essential.
