Job Summary:
We're looking for skilled Pipe Fitters with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. As a Pipe Fitter with Coastal Services Limited, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems, including fabrication, assembly, and testing.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems, including fabrication, assembly, and testing
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine pipe fittings and installation requirements
- Cut, thread, and weld pipe to required specifications
- Assemble and install piping systems, including valves, fittings, and other equipment
- Conduct testing and inspections to ensure piping systems meet safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure efficient and safe work practices
You will need:
- 3+ years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in an industrial setting - Trade certification or equivalent experience
- Strong ability to interpret 2D drawings & Isometrics
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods
- Proficiency in welding, cutting, and threading pipe
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- A full NZ drivers’ license
