About the mahi (role)

Are you an experienced clinician or looking to develop your skills in the vocational and community area? Then we want to hear from you!

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our fun and exciting team.

In this role, you will be supported by the Clinic Manager and will be a key member of our strong team. We are a close-knit and hard-working group who enjoy regular social events and have a passion for the outdoors.

You will be able to manage your diary autonomously to help achieve a good work/life balance. You will have the flexibility to work from home or the New Plymouth clinic.

With extensive training and mentoring depending on experience, the successful candidate will be required to provide a wide variety of different contracts. We are open to receiving applications from all experience levels.

This role would cover providing rehabilitation for injured clients, coordinating the client journey, facilitating return to work, and supporting rehabilitation in the home and community. About you

The applicant requires a minimum of 2-years of clinical experience, however, Occupational therapists of all experience levels are encouraged to apply. A post-graduate qualification in the occupational health/vocational rehabilitation field would be an advantage to the applicant however not essential. It is expected that the successful applicant would be willing to work towards a post-graduate qualification.

Substantial orientation, training and support will be provided.
