Western Institute of Technology (WITT), Te Kura Matatini o Taranaki, is the largest tertiary education provider in Taranaki. We’re seeking applications talented people to teach on our Nursing programmes.

The position is to teach, assess and guide our students through nursing programmes offered at WITT, mainly the Bachelor of Nursing and the Competency Assessment Programmes. This is a full time position, based at the New Plymouth Campus, within the School of Nursing, Health and Wellness.

If you can tick the following boxes, we'd love to hear from you

Registered Nurse with an Annual Practicing Certificate
At least 3 years recent clinical experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to a diverse group of people
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Prepared to learn new technologies in teaching and learning
Post graduate qualifications and previous academic experience would be an advantage but is not essential. We will fully support you if you don’t have any previous teaching experience.
