We’re on the hunt for an experienced Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager to join our dynamic team at our Bell Block office. This is a rare opportunity to be at the heart of large-scale oil and gas projects—where you’ll have direct influence from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement engineering projects and maintenance programs.

Lead project planning, budgeting, and contractor management.

Provide expert technical guidance on mechanical design and facility modifications.

Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.

Perform design calculations and stress analysis.

Ensure regulatory compliance across all Greymouth Petroleum facilities.

Mentor and guide junior engineers.

Liaise with key stakeholders to drive project success.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering and project management (oil & gas preferred).

Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.

Strong technical expertise in engineering best practices, systems, and design standards.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in stress analysis software, Microsoft Excel & Word.

Solid understanding of NZ’s Health & Safety regulations in the energy sector.
