About the Role:
As a Laboratory Supervisor at Nexans, your primary objective is to drive the generation and implementation of continuous improvement solutions within the manufacturing process. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing efficiencies, reducing costs, and maximizing profitability. Additionally, you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Laboratory, ensuring quality standards are met and maintained. This is a full time, permanent role based on site at the Bell Block factory.

Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to system and process design, testing, and improvement.
Implement innovative solutions using problem-solving tools and new product development.
Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze and resolve process-related issues.
Analyze data and prepare insightful reports for stakeholders.
Monitor process capability of manufacturing materials.
Provide proactive issue advisement and solutions to management.
Ensure compliance with laboratory accreditations and certifications.
Conduct sampling, inspection, testing, and release of raw materials.
Generate reports for internal testing, NCR analysis, and customer-requested tests.
Skills and Experience Required:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (desired) or significant relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and calibration of equipment in a lab environment.
Proficiency in SAP, Office 365, database systems, and analysis tools.
Proven experience in generating and implementing continuous improvement solutions.
Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills, and ability to immediately engage with people across all levels of the business.
