We are looking for a Halal Slaughter-Person to work all year round in our poultry processing plant based in Bell Block, New Plymouth.
The Tegel Bell Block plant is looking for an enthusiastic, physically fit, hard-working individuals The role is fast-paced and requires core physical strength to meet the rigorous demands of the role. Flexibility to assist with overtime and an immediate start will be highly valued by Tegel.
In order to be considered for this role we need you to be:
Either a qualified Halal Slaughter-person or have the ability to meet the Halal Qualification criteria as set by our Authorised Halal Organisation.
Physically fit
Able to meet basic English language and numeracy requirements
Able to legally work in NZ
All applications are required to undergo literacy testing, a pre-employment medical and a drug and alcohol screen.
