Halliburton is currently looking for recent graduates to join our Australasia team to be based in New Plymouth as Graduate Field Engineers.

Field Engineering

As a field engineer, you will work as an onsite leader, putting to use the technical and operational expertise you gain through Halliburton's world-class training. Depending on your work assignment, your responsibilities may include:

Assisting in pre-planning (in both office and workshop environment), job execution (on location in the field), and post job analysis to ensure project success and efficiency.
Troubleshooting on-the-spot issues at the wellsite.
Interpreting wellsite data in real time, using complex technologies such as software simulators and the latest electrical and mechanical equipment
Promoting and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Service Quality (SQ) standards, practices and guidelines.
Field engineers work both in the office and in onshore/offshore locations, can perform very physical work and keep demanding schedules. You will have the opportunity to work in different locations and environments as your experience level grows and as Halliburton's business needs change.

Requirements

Completion of an undergraduate degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline required.
This is the entry level position for this discipline and will train directly under the supervision of an appropriate frontline leader or a competent Field Professional assigned by the frontline leader to gain knowledge of operations.
You must hold New Zealand or Australian citizenship or permanent residency to be eligible for this opportunity, and be available to start full-time work in January 2022.
No travel restrictions and/or able to self-relocate to New Plymouth if required.
