This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the formation of a new Year 7-15 school in Hāwera, South Taranaki, that will be opening in 2023 with a projected roll of 1100 students. Check out our website www.tepaepaeoaotea.school.nz.
We are currently seeking a Gateway/STAR Coordinator which involves coordination of student places within the workplace and administrative tasks associated with Gateway and STAR funding. This term time only, permanent position would commence in January.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
A passion for helping students achieve their goals
The ability to establish and develop positive relationships with employers and stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and communication capabilities
Strong learning agility and capability to pick up new systems quickly
The ability to work in a team and engage positively with students and their whānau
