Roderique Hope Trust are a local Taranaki housing charity and provide a range of services to the community including Transitional housing, the Sustaining Tenancies, Community Connector and Emergency Housing Navigator services along with the Ready to Rent programme.

Roderique Hope Trust assist each whānau to engage with their appointed whānau navigator to create a whānau centered plan, identify barriers, set goals and help them to see a future for themselves and their children that is filled with hope. This allows whānau to identify their dreams and aspirations, build whānau stability, gain further education and employment and have a safe place that they can call home.

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our team!

As an Administrator, you will:
Provide high-quality administrative support across our housing services and internal operations.

Maintain and update case management systems (CMS), ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.

Coordinate communications, reports and documentation with a strong focus on clarity and professionalism.

Assist with organising meetings, including scheduling, venue booking, sending invitations and taking accurate minutes.

Manage general administrative tasks that support the effective running of the Trust’s housing services.

Help oversee key housing supports for the Emergency and Transitional Housing teams.

Support Health and Safety and Emergency Management procedures and maintain relevant records.

Collaborate with a small, dedicated team that values compassion, integrity and respect

Have at least 2 years of experience in an administrative role.

Understanding of Tikanga Māori and the ability to work in a bi-cultural and multicultural environment.

Knowledge and respect for the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Is confident using CMS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), or has the ability to learn quickly.

Strong attention to detail, time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Works well under pressure and can remain calm and focused in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others.

Capable of sound decision-making and problem-solving, including in emergency situations.

Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to tailor approaches to meet diverse needs.

Participates in all team meetings, staff training and cultural development sessions as a required part of the role and actively contributes to a positive team culture.

Please note this position is a part time, 22 hours per week, one year, fixed term role starting 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.
