We are looking for qualified and experienced Fitter Welders to join our innovative and dynamic team.
Pace Engineering has well-equipped purpose-built workshops based in Taranaki, the heart of New Zealand’s energy province, offers total engineering services to a broad client base.

Skills and Experience Required
Trade qualified Fitter or Fitter/Welder with experience in the heavy fabrication industry
Proven experience in general machinery repairs and maintenance
High attention to detail, proactive and reliable
High standard of welding and fabrication in Mig, Tig, and arc welding. AS/NZS 2980, AS/NZS 1554 welding standards would be an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
Excellent technical ability and be able to carry out your duties to a high standard within time frames
Able to work in a team or unsupervised
Have a strong commitment to health and safety
Have a full driver’s license
Physically capable and self-motivated with a can-do attitude
Only New Zealand based applicants will be considered. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
