Parininihi ki Waitōtara (PKW) is a Māori Incorporation based in Taranaki, Aotearoa. Managing a diverse asset portfolio, PKW oversees 20,000 hectares of some of the most productive dairy land in the world, as well as a range of other interests, including crayfish, forestry and commercial property. PKW are seeking an experienced and talented Sheep Dairy Farm Manager (Te Rau Whakahuka Miraka Hipi) to oversee one of two brand new sheep milking farms. Set in the picturesque rolling landscapes of South Taranaki, the Farm Manager is responsible for implementing the day-to-day action plan to achieve optimal annual operational performance including financial, production and industry compliance aligned with the approved farm KPI measures.

There are 2 brand new purpose-built sheep dairying conversions boasting all of the latest technology and infrastructure.
New 36aside double up shed with animal ID readers with automatic drafting system and in shed milk testing.
2,500m2 Ewe / lamb rearing barn. To house ewes in adverse weather conditions and lamb rearing shed in spring
New Machinery (tractors, side-by-sides, 2 Wheeler motorbike)
2 tidy dwellings on each property
There is the possibility for one suitably qualified/experienced Sheep dairy farm manager to oversee both of our Sheep dairying blocks (neighbouring properties), so talk to us about what you can offer!
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding and empathy with aspirations for Māori economic development and of tikanga Māori.
Preferred candidates for this role will have previous recent experience in pastoral farm management and in particular with Dairy Operations (Bovine/Ovine). Sheep/Goat handling experience vital.
