Driller/Locator

NPE-Tech, under new management, has an opportunity for a Driller/Locator to join our team in New Plymouth. We are established and recently joined the Feisst Group Team providing exciting growth and career opportunities.

The opportunity:
Part of our Civil Works team we have a opportunity for an experienced Driller/Locator for horizontal directional drill operation and locating and to undertake with other civil work as needed.

Some key tasks include:

Horizontal directional drilling and locating
Operate excavators
Open cut trenching by hand and excavator
Installation of underground ducts and power cabling
Installation and removal of streetlight poles
Make good driveways/roads and general minor repairs
What we're looking for:

Candidates who are;

3 + years of drill operation experience
Class 4 0r 5 driver licence an advantage
A good attitude and compliance with health and safety standards and proceurds
Appropriate and current certifications and licences
Great energy, a positive attitude and team player
Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written.
High quality standards and takes pride in a job well done
Be fit and health with the ability to complete manual handling tasks safely
All candidates must have legal entitlement to work in NZ and must be currently living in NZ to be considered.
