We are currently looking for a Dispatch Assistant to join our Distribution Centre based in Bell Block. If you have a great work ethic and want to be a part of a strong team, then come and join the team at Tegel. This position will be a 5x8 role, working 9am - 5:30pm. You will be responsible to schedule and manage all movements through the Warehouse and the Tegel distribution network.

Creating pick-packs for the team
Upkeeping stockpiles for outer labels
Ensuring units are utilised well by planning and assigning runs to specific trucks taking into consideration weight, pallets, and carton count limits.
Ordering stationery and other dry goods for the DC.
Liaising with various transport providers, when required
Communicating with loadout operators and other dispatch assistants if any changes are to be made to the plan.
Ensuring accurate completion of paperwork so that delivery of goods is achieved first time and to provide central point of communications
Providing excellent administration, planning and organisation processes within the logistics functions
For this role, you will have:

Sound knowledge of the Transport Industry Regulations
Sound Warehouse/Distribution experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good decision making skills
