OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to a number of industrial based clients in the Taranaki region.
Our Client is a locally owned Kapiti based civil contracting & forestry business operating within the North Island. They are looking for an experienced contracts manager to oversee their operations in the Manawatu/Taranaki Region.
As the contracts manager you will be effective in the managing of contracts, the supervision of project engineers, project managers and contacts administrators to ensure that all civil works and contracts are conducted effectively and within the project budget. As well as liaising with Operations and Senior Managers to ensure company goals are maintained.
The Contracts manager is a key role within our client's business, to be considered for the role you will need to;
Have the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external counterparts.
Display effective leadership skills with a "lead by example" attitude.
Display professionalism in all aspects of your work.
Have proven Project/Contract Management experience.
Proficient in Tender evaluation, preparation and submittal.
Have the ability to manage the Quality Programme (Telarc ISO).
Experience in Projects Software.
Demonstrate knowledge of and understanding of quality assurance requirements.
Days of work will be Monday to Friday 07.30am - 05.00pm, however work outside of these hours may be required from time to time. Preferably you will be based within the Manawatu area and have the flexibility to travel to work sites within the North Island.
This is a full-time, permanent role with our client who is dedicated to meeting customer needs through achieving excellence across all of their operations.
