We are looking for an exceptional individual to help us build the next phase of the renowned Coastal Walkway from Bell Block to Waitara. You will be working as part of a team, including our mana whenua partners, constructing 10km of shared pathway through some of Aotearoa's most significant historic areas.

Do you have experience managing construction sites and multiple contractors? Do you hold yourself and others to high health, safety and environmental standards? Are you good at contract and programme reporting, and setting deadlines and ensuring these are communicated?

We have a full-time construction manager opportunity in our Infrastructure Projects Team, for the fixed-term for this project (three years). In this role you would oversee the construction of the project, working with and enabling good coordination and a supportive team culture between contractors, and ensuring the smooth running of the construction site. You would be responsible for planning the works, monitoring quality, scheduling, writing site plans and general contract administration.
You will have experience in project management and leadership, and involvement in contracts and collaborative working. You will have an appreciation for the bigger picture and the communities we are working for. You will have an understanding of tikanga and ideally have relative experience in working with Iwi, hapu to achieve better social outcomes.
