CLINICAL MANAGER
CAREFIRST MEDICAL CENTRES
Westown, Merrilands and Moturoa practices
Taranaki - New Plymouth
Carefirst is a well-established and supportive group of practices caring for over 20,000 patients over three practice sites, including our Westown, Merrilands and Moturoa GP practices.
We are recruiting a Clinical Manager to lead our clinical teams across the three sites. At Carefirst you will be able to thrive in the challenging environment of primary healthcare, PHOs, funding, capitation, enrolments, and the wide range of reporting that GP practices require.
The Clinical Manager role is a permanent full time position.
We are motivated to recruit someone who ideally has knowledge of primary care and/or has worked in the health sector. The successful applicant will be someone who has proven ability to lead teams of nursing and HCA staff to be the best they can be, someone who has an acute focus on our patients and the services that we provide them. Along with these skills the successful applicant will work closely with our senior leadership team.

You’ll have and will be able to bring to Carefirst
Excellent clinical skills and experience with a current APC
A focus on quality care working within clinical policy and procedures
Being familiar with legislation and ensuring that the practices are legally compliant.
Patient satisfaction.
Excellent time management
Leadership experience with the ability to coach and mentor the team.
A keen focus on patient and staff safety.
The ability to build meaningful and positive working relationships
Assisting with budgeting requirements
Working knowledge of our PMS Indici is desirable but not essential
