We’re adding to our team of high performing engineers and looking to recruit a Civil Engineer with a keen interest in stormwater and flood protection engineering.

The Challenge

Respond to immediate flooding and stormwater issues, investigate the causes and design appropriate solutions.
Contribute to flood event readiness and planning.
Ensure all required monitoring and condition assessments (eg., dam inspections), and maintenance is undertaken.
Carry out site inspections and supervise maintenance and improvement works.
Report on the condition and performance of stormwater and flood protection infrastructure and make recommendations on renewal and upgrade projects.
Evaluate the impacts of new developments and provide feedback and recommendations.
Engage with home and landowners, and form collaborative working relationships within Council and with contractors and consultants.
Your Skills

A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering and a minimum of two years’ related experience, ideally 4+ years gained in a Council, Contractor or Consulting environment.
An interest in and practical understanding of stormwater and flood protection engineering.
Good all-round communication skills and a collaborative team approach.
