We’re looking for a reliable and organised Branch Administrator to support our New Plymouth team. This is a key role where you’ll take ownership of essential admin tasks, support the leadership team, and ensure the branch operates smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Manage reception duties including answering calls, greeting visitors, and handling couriers.
Process Invoices, data entry, and manage account payable.
Order office and branch supplies and maintain general office systems.
Oversee branch documents and maintain filing systems.
Assist the Operations Manager and 2IC with day-to-day administration.
Manage Health & Safety administration by maintaining registers and records, coordinating and conducting all H&S training and workplace drug and alcohol testing.
Act as the branch Health and Safety Representative and promote strong safety communication across the team.
Support basic payroll functions, ensuring timesheets are entered accurately.
Assist with internal reporting and other ad hoc tasks as required.
What You'll Bring:
Previous experience in administration, office support, or coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with a proven ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
Strong Excel and data entry skills with great attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong team ethic.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points:
Experience in traffic management, civil or transport industries.
