The Role
As a BAS Accountant, you'll manage a portfolio of clients, providing end-to-end compliance and advisory services. You'll be involved in preparing financial statements and tax returns, advising clients on cashflow and structuring, and supporting the wider team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships and delivering practical, value-added advice.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements, GST returns, and income tax returns
Deliver compliance and advisory services to a range of clients
Support clients with budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
Maintain strong knowledge of rural tax legislation and industry-specific issues
About You
CA or CPA qualified (or working toward it)
Experience in public practice
Solid understanding of tax compliance, reporting, and advisory work
Comfortable using Xero, MYOB, and rural accounting software
Strong communication skills and an interest in the work
