About the role:
This is a consultant assistant project management role, with a focus on managing the delivery of some transformative infrastructure projects within the Taranaki region and beyond. You will be overseeing contractors, designers, engineers, and other key project stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery for some of New Zealand's highly regarded clients.
This position presents an exciting opportunity for an assistant project manager or coordinator looking to join a leading consultancy and work on bigger and full lifecycle projects. Alternatively, you may have a background in professional services consultancy, infrastructure or engineering experience and looking for a pathway to pivot into a rewarding project management career.
About you:
Minimum 2 years' experience working within the New Zealand construction or engineering market, with project experience in roading, cycleways, water or similar infrastructure
Current knowledge of NZ building regulations, especially NZS3910 standards
Excellent communication and relationship management skills to engage key stakeholders
Tertiary qualification in construction, project management or engineering (or similar)
Prior consultancy experience is a plus
This is a permanent position, which will see you embedded within a fantastic team, and playing a key role in the delivery of some of Taranaki's most important projects.
