Friendly village icon puts down more permanent roots.

High Tide started life in a caravan only metres from the high-tide line at Oakura Beach. After a summer it had built such a following it had to move to a more fixed abode. 

Now firmly ensconsed in the heart of Oakura Village, High Tide offers an alluring range of fresh healthy food, Kiwi and French pastries baked on-site daily, and a mighty fine coffee. Smiles from François and his team are standard, and tall surf stories are happily dispatched on request ...
