Nationwide RV has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual seeking a new challenge. We require a Sales Consultant at our New Plymouth branch, passionate about sales & customer service, be a brand ambassador to help maintain our strong reputation as one of NZ’s leading Motorhome & Caravan dealerships.

Currently we are NZ agents for two motorhome brands, Auto-Trail out of the UK and Rollerteam out of Italy. Both brands are well received in the NZ market due to their quality & continual innovation.

We are looking for an experienced salesperson that is passionate about what they sell, strong product knowledge, excellent listener, loves building relationships, turning enquiries into sales by guiding customers into the vehicle of their dreams.

About this Role:

The New Plymouth Sales Consultant will report to the General Manager and be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. They will manage all aspects of the sales process from start to finish, increase brand recognition, and foster relationships, turning new customers into repeat customers.



Key Responsibilities:

· Organize, display and stage stock on the New Plymouth Sales yard

· Drive vehicle sales

· Upsell individual extra’s & packages

· Build a strong foundation in product knowledge & services

· Take care of all on-road requirements

· Hand over units to their new owners

· Be the contact between customers, Workshop & Warranty

· Provide exceptional customer service

· Vehicle logistic support between locations

· Co-ordination of all required services

· New, Trade & On Behalf vehicle inspections & valuations

· PDI, Contract, Warranty and Debtor document control

· Health & Safety



You will need to bring:

· Proven sales track record

· Motivation to be successful

· Attention to detail

· Strong communication skills, listening, verbal & written

· An ability to connect with people of all ages, from all walks of life

· Practical & mechanically minded

· Confidence with technology

· Time management, can multitask and prioritize essential daily tasks

· Ability to work autonomously or in a team.

· Desire to participate in industry sales events locally & nationally

· Doing what it takes to ensure targets are hit

· Full class 1 driver license is essential, towing experience preferred

· A love of the great outdoors
