Busy Florist & Gift Store seeks a Senior experienced Florist to be part of a thriving team!
Simply Blooming are seeking a creative Senior Florist with proven experience in professionally executing flower arrangements, hampers, and general daily floristry orders that are created at a high standard of workmanship.
You must be a strong team player with a positive can do attitude, and be able to work collaboratively and closely with other team members.
As part of being a Senior Florist, you must have exceptional customer service skills, leading by example, with a motivated attitude and flexibility.
This role requires you to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays and some Saturdays, with flexibility needed around hours and days of work.
The remuneration at Simply Blooming is inviting and includes an opportunity to get paid overtime, meal and uniform allowances, and a higher rate of hourly pay if working on weekends.
Because we work at a fast pace, we require a skilled and experienced florist to apply for this role.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential:
5 or more years’ experience in being a florist
Ability to incorporate new floral trends and techniques
Impeccable floristry work and be able to show this
Efficiency for completing tasks
Ability to communicate effectively with Team members
Ability to communicate effectively with staff to achieve a harmonious workplace
Ability to prioritise tasks
Excellent team building skills
Excellent organisational skills
Problem solving skills
Promote improvement and change
Quick learner
