Our client is a well-known and respected energy industry player, with offices around the globe. The New Zealand operation currently concentrates on E&P and as part of their planning for the future, they are keen to add a Process Engineer to their New Plymouth based team.
The person and the job.
We are seeking an individual with a tertiary engineering or science qualification and experience in hydrocarbon process engineering. This person will possess technical proficiency and credibility within the oil and gas industry, while also having a penchant for engaging with stakeholders and being active in the field.
Your responsibilities will revolve around providing day-to-day support for operational configuration, identifying any issues or deviations from normal operating parameters, and effectively managing process changes. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring ongoing process safeguarding and optimising production.
In order to excel in this role, we are looking for a personable individual with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, who is able to build and maintain strong working relationships. Furthermore, you should enjoy being on-site (when needed) and possess the ability to work independently when necessary to get the job done.
