About the role
As a part-time Pharmacy Assistant at Vogeltown Pharmacy in New Plymouth Central, Taranaki, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and customer-focused operations of this community pharmacy. Joining a dedicated team, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth running of the pharmacy and the excellent care provided to patients.
What you'll be doing
Delivering excellence in customer service and understanding the needs of our customers in a health environment
It is essential that you have a caring and empathetic manner towards all customers
Processing sales, and handling cash and inventory
Inputting stock into our system, unpacking stock, merchandising stock
Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to pharmacy operations
Restocking shelves and ensuring the pharmacy is clean, organised, and well-presented
Supporting the team with general administrative duties as required.
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably within the pharmacy or healthcare industry
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with both customers and the pharmacy team
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to providing high-quality service
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and to follow instructions and procedures
Proficiency in using computers and pharmacy-related software
