Egmont Honey is a growing player in the Manuka Honey market in New Zealand and around the world. We are looking for a reliable and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our ever-growing team based at our office in Bell Block, Taranaki.

This role is a Fixed-Term Fulltime role, the term is from January 2024 - June 2024, and the purpose is to cover while a staff member is on parental leave. Working Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week.

This is an exciting and fast-paced role within an organization that is experiencing considerable domestic & global growth.

The purpose of this position is to coordinate dispatch and logistics documentation for domestic and export orders to customers, ensuring all the relevant documentation is completed and available within deadline-sensitive timeframes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Working closely with the logistics team, ensure the processing of all orders by:

Coordinating freight bookings – liaising with (but not limited to) external freight forwarders, and trucking companies & directly with shipping lines to meet dispatch deadlines.
Communicating with key dispatchers & sales team about any delays.
Managing export/import arrangements and documentation.
Completing all final export documentation in a timely manner.
Updating Ministry for Primary Industries database (E-cert).
Ensuring internal database and external (E-cert) are updated whenever stock movement is completed for inventory management.
MPI Health/Vet Certificate Completion
Collation & confirmation of all necessary documents for market entry to the relevant import country.
Pre-alerts to Global agents of outgoing stock transfers & orders
Inventory Management and Compliance:

Managing product inventory for incoming goods and at the point of dispatch.
Accurate record-keeping in various systems, e.g. CIN7, E-Cert (MPI).
Regular stock takes for the main warehouse, plus domestic & global 3PLs
Keeping up-to-date knowledge regarding Overseas Market Access Requirements (OMARs).
Establishing effective communication with external verifiers (AsureQuality).
Maintaining accurate records.
Participating in external audit preparation.
The successful candidate will have/be able to:

Export/Logistics experience or relevant qualification.
Previous experience with MPI E-cert system
High level of attention to detail and accuracy with excellent time management and task organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to build and maintain a strong working relationship.
A self-motivated person who can work with minimal supervision.
Team player with a can-do attitude.
Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CIN7 (desirable – not essential).
