Egmont Honey is a growing player in the Manuka Honey market in New Zealand and around the world. We are looking for reliable Factory Assistants to join our ever-growing team based at our office in Bell Block, Taranaki.

This role will work within our Honey Packing Facility, and uphold our high standard for quality whilst adhering to our site food safety and hygiene protocols. We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people who align with our values.

This is a full-time permanent role available, working Monday - Friday within one of the set production shifts:

Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Operation of modern filling and packing equipment
Raising quality issues to relevant staff with recommended resolution
Ensuring that labels required for packing jobs are stocked and available
Provide and allocate labels for packing jobs.
Printing labels as and when required.
Liaise and work with the quality team before signing off.
General factory duties as provided by the Factory manager.
Production floor assistance involves but is not excluded from, cleaning, labeling, preparing, and packing products for domestic and/or international export.
Follow Health and Safety procedures
The successful candidate will:

Excellent communication and capable of following instructions

Training and development of staff members in multiple areas
Support and back up to Packing Room team leader
Being proactive
Confident with reading and understanding batch documents
Excellent attention to detail
Working as part of a team to support managers and teams as and when needed
