Who are we looking for?

Due to Fulton Hogan's ongoing growth within the Region, we are looking for a Class 2 Driver Operator to join our team in Hawera.


The job

You will primarily be responsible for driving and operating machinery on projects, adhering to client specification and work procedures.

You'll use your good people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships with our customers, and our people (we're one big whanau). And you'll have the skills and experience to help us achieve our strategic objectives.

You'll also:

Understand and embrace our living safely approach.
Operate earthmoving equipment and general maintenance to best practice.
Take personal responsibility for the safety of your workmates, the environment, public and yourself.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant job and work instruction.
Experience and attributes

Class 2 with WTR endorsements essential, Class 4 preferred.
Good level of physical fitness with the ability to complete manual labour.
At least 2 years' experience within a civil construction environment.
Good attitude towards the maintenance and care of machinery.
Experience moving plant and machinery.
An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match.
Be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
