About the role
Reporting to our Sales Lead, you’ll be part of our fantastic team of Business Account Manager. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of Spark business customers across the Taranaki region — from New Plymouth, delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving revenue performance across your portfolio, including telco and ICT business solutions.
Developing networks, both internally and externally, will be second nature to you. Bringing together the best of Spark to deliver business solutions that help customers win big in a digital world is what it’s all about.

The ideal candidate will have:
2+ years’ experience in telco and/or IT sales or account management, with a proven track record of success.
The ability to engage with customers as a trusted advisor.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, including experience crafting bids and winning competitive pitches.
A track record of achieving KPIs, including growing existing customers, converting new leads, and closing sales by identifying telco and ICT solutions that drive customer efficiency and productivity.
Strong self-motivation and proven experience in business technology solution selling, while delivering outstanding customer experiences.
The ability to effectively manage a sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales.
Experience working with external partners in a collaborative way to enable business solutions.
You’ll also bring:
