We seek enthusiastic, creative team members to fill part-time roles working with 3 unique young men whom we provide 24/7 support for.

About the role

Helping three young men to achieve their goals in life by assisting them in the community. Some of the activities they enjoy so far are: cooking, swimming, cycling, going to the gym, horse riding, work experience at a cafe and going to concerts – and we want to help them explore heaps more!

If you’re energetic, confident, enjoy a challenge and love seeing people achieve their goals, then we want to hear from you!

It’s not a must, but perhaps working weekends is your preference? Then we definitely want to hear from you!

Various part-time positions are available, both during weekdays and weekends, which could also lead to full time work in the near future.

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will

Be a people person, able to build trusting and respectful relationships
Be able to work creatively and problem-solve
Have good community knowledge and be able to develop networks
Have a level 3 qualification in Health and Wellbeing and a current first aid certificate (although training can be provided for the right person)
Have an understanding of bi-cultural practice in Aotearoa New Zealand
Be comfortable with technology – Community Connections has a cloud-based database and rostering system that staff need to access with their mobile devices
Have a full drivers licence
