A vacancy has become available for a security officer to join our team at a New Plymouth site, working an 8-10 hour rostered shift pattern covering day and night shifts.
This is a permanent role and will preferably be suited to an experienced security officer with a mature outlook and good communication skills.
Full training will be provided to the successful applicant that will also include in-house specific training for this role.

To be successful in this role you must:
Display a high level of professionalism and personal presentation.
Hold a current Certificate of Approval (and preferably have completed mandatory training) or can obtain a COA from the Ministry of Justice
Have a clean criminal record
Hold a current Work Permit, be a Permanent Resident or be a New Zealand Resident
Be able to work shifts (including nights and weekends) as we operate 24/7
Be able to work alone or in a team environment
Be able to meet company Operating procedures and Health & Safety Regulations
Be customer focused with the ability to deal with a range of situations and people including youth
Display excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Be trustworthy, punctual, and reliable
Display common sense & initiative
Be physically fit
