Exciting times are ahead within our construction team in New Plymouth. With streetscape, drainage, minor and large-scale civil projects on the horizon we have a growing team with many opportunities. We’re after a Project Manager to join our team and help lead and mentor our operational and supervisory crews. About role
Delivery is your mantra and you will be on the lookout for continuous improvement and high quality of work. Day to day you will be:

Ensuring our team has an unwavering focus on zero harm
Enhancing our strong relationships with our clients and delivering as promised, every time.
Leading a team of supervisors, growing the capability of the team by providing clear and positive leadership
Utilising your financial and Commercial management skills
Ensuring that we deliver projects on time, on budget and aligned with our zero harm principles
About you
You’ll need proven successful project management experience ideally within Road Maintenance, Utilities and/or Construction in addition to your:

5+ years experience in a Project Management or Contract Management role, delivering projects in the areas of infrastructure and roading
Strong track record of positive leadership behaviours that empower others
Ability to create and deliver a strong customer focus culture, and a collaborative approach to develop client relationships
Understanding of strategic asset management and local authority activities
Proven track record in developing a culture that supports Health and Safety management, encouraging and rewarding excellence.
Tertiary qualification, preferably in Civil Engineering advantageous, however other disciplines and overall experience within the industry would be considered
