We are looking for a dynamic and suitably experienced Permit to Work Coordinator to join our busy Production Operations team!


You

You will have solid hands-on experience in oil and gas operations or a similar industry. You’ll offer sound understanding of operations assurance processes and are a competent communicator. You like the idea of working in a fast paced and productive team where you can work with experienced colleagues and use your high level of initiative to provide solutions and enhance your work.

Our Location

Our McKee Mangahewa and Kapuni Production Stations, along with our Kapuni Gas Treatment Plant are a short drive out of the city from our head office based in New Plymouth. This role will be based across our Kapuni assets.


The Role

This role involves managing and maintaining Site Permitting Processes and Systems all while supporting the ongoing development of Operation Standards and Procedures. The Permit to Work Coordinator is accountable for implementing business strategy and collaborating with peers across Todd Energy to deliver business outcomes.

Suitable applicants must have:

NZCE or equivalent is desired
PTW Issuer and User NZQA unit standards
Proven production operations and maintenance expertise in onshore upstream oil and gas field production and maintenance operations.
Any further education, trade skills, etc. would be desirable.
Supervisory experience.
Knowledge of relevant engineering and Operating standards and regulations.
Detailed knowledge of Safe systems of work such as Management of Change, Permit to Work and Process Safety
Implementation and production management systems
Track record of implementing continuous improvement and operational excellence in oil and gas operations
Ability to drive issues and proactively influence others with sound technical reasoning.
High level of communications ability, including ability to communicate complex issues.
Ability to set priorities on competing issues according to value to business.
Ability to train and mentor operations staff.
