Armourguard Security New Plymouth requires Security Officers to assist our team over the summer season at a number of specialist events commencing November/ December 2021. We also have immediate vacancies for staff across multiple sites in New Plymouth with variable hours per week covering both day and nightshift. This would ideally suit persons who are looking for casual/part time work covering 7 days per week.
Hours would also suit those who are semi-retired or retired and looking for ad hoc hours to top up their income.
We are looking for individuals who have great customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written English), for these rolls.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join New Plymouth’s leading Security Company and become a member of our current team delivering security services back to the community through a variety of events and specialist sites.
To be successful in this role you must:
Display a high level of professionalism and personal presentation.
Have a clean criminal record.
Hold a current Work Permit, be a Permanent Resident or be a New Zealand Resident
Be able to work alone or in a team environment.
Be able to meet company Operating procedures and Health & Safety Regulations
Be customer focused with the ability to deal with a range of situations and people including youth.
Display excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Be trustworthy, punctual, and reliable.
Display common sense & initiative.
Be physically fit.
